The Divine Mercy Chaplet is a Catholic devotion centered on Divine Mercy, based on apparitions of Jesus to Faustina Kowalska, a Polish nun canonized as a saint in 2000. Sis. Kowalska received the prayer through visions and conversations with Jesus, including promises related to its recitation. It is typically recited using rosary beads in the Catholic tradition and can also be adapted for Anglican prayer beads or counting on fingertips. Many practitioners venerate the Divine Mercy image alongside the chaplet.

While you can say the chaplet at any time, it holds particular significance when recited on Divine Mercy Sunday and Fridays at 3:00 p.m. You can utilized the Rosary beads for this chaplet.

...suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; he descended into hell; on the third day he rose again from the dead; he ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty; from there he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.
